Delta 316.1 is currently on blight for testing.

Just in case you need a refresher on the previous Combat Revamp Delta Release, please see the previous news article.

Combat Overhaul

Resistances and Wards have been simplified. Rather than matching up against each individual damage type (e.g. Flame Resistance, Ice Resistance, Slash Ward, Crush Ward, and so forth) the types have been reduced to four. The goal of this change is to make it easier to boost your evasion chance against attacks from or improve your damage mitigation against a category of damage.
- Slash, Crush and Pierce now matchup against Physical Resistance and Ward.
- Flame, Energy, Ice, Nature, Blight and Primal to Arcane Resistance and Ward.
- Mind, Spirit and Life to Mystical Resistance and Ward.
- Ethereal to Ethereal Resistance and Ward.

Backpack Pouch Revamp

- Fabric Backpack pouches have received a touch-up on their utility to no longer be overshadowed by backpacks and scale packs as superior inventory sorting containers.
*All backpack pouches now have a bulk of 0 (with an exception to the existing colored pouches).
*Backpack Pouches now inherit the parent container's maximum bulk and item stack capacity, rather than a tiered limit. This is true regardless of where the pouch is stored; base inventory, the vault, or even a structure.
*As a result of the above, the various tiers of pouches no longer offer any specific benefit over another and the only difference is the color.
- Colored Backpack Pouches have been overhauled in how they are created, allowing for variations using all 47 current dye colors to be made.
*The new colored pouch formulae are sold by fashion designers across the various racial cities in the following collections: Basic shades, Complex shades, Metallic shades, Gem shades, Azulyte shades, Antique shades, and Unique shades.
*The new formula requires:
.14 to 7 fabric spools
.1 dye of appropriate color
.1 alchemical dye fixative: a new item to replace the pouch patterns of the old formula, also sold by Fashion Designers.
*A new set of Master Alchemical Dye formulae have been added to Ghent Flaskshaper in Aughundell to fill out the missing options.
.These dyes follow the same pattern as dyes of lower tiers, requiring half of the resources needed for their respective Dye Kits, with exception to the ones that require a monster component, these will still require 1 of the appropriate component.
*The old colored pouches (e.g. Red Flaxen Backpack Pouch, Gold Silk Backpack Pouch, etc) have all been marked as obsolete as the new system replaces the old, however any existing pouches will still receive the utility upgrade.

Blighted Equipment and Resources
